I see plenty of positions posted on different job boards, but they are always strictly against telecommuting! The bad thing, about Centricity (specifically EMR), is that it seems to be focused in clusters, such as the Midwest, Northeast, etc., but it is often too far out of reach.
If you would be interested in an Experienced, Full-time (I have a family, so I definitely need Medical Insurance) Systems Analyst, please review my qualifications, below…
If not, I appreciate you taking the time to review my rant!!
As tacky as I feel it is, I will simply attach some items from my résumé (it is tacky, but it is a good showcase of what I have done):
Experience (nearly 3 years):
- Level 2 and 3 Customer Support for GE Centricity EMR 2005 (6.1), 9.2, & 9.5
- Installation/Training/Support for Dragon Naturally Speaking/Medically Speaking Voice Recognition Software, Versions 8, 9, and 10
- Installation/Training/Support for ScandAll/ScandAll Pro and Kryptiq Docutrak/Document Management for Scanning/Indexing/Importing of Documentation into Centricity EMR
- Maintenance/support for the Kryptiq eScriptMessenger Console, Biscom’s Faxcom Suite for Windows, and Midmark Spiro/EKG/ECG software
- Clinical Form analysis/creation/modifications, using Visual Form Editor and CCC Text File Editor
- Crystal Reports 10/XI (Intermediate User Level) for acquiring data from multiple systems, to meet business needs; usage includes creation of new reports and alteration of existing reports
- Oracle SQL Developer for using SQL to acquire data directly from the EMR Oracle Database, for easy extraction of data, when creating a report seems redundant
- Involvement in 2 Centricity EMR Upgrades (from 6.1 to 9.2 and from 9.2 to 9.5)
- Involvement in multiple New Site Implementations/Clinical Training and creation of documentation for Centricity EMR, Dragon Naturally Speaking, ScandAll/Docutrak, and Logitech Camera software
- Upgrade (from 3.1 to 3.3) and maintenance of the Kryptiq eScriptMessenger Console (used as the Intermediary between our EMR and Surescripts)
- Formal Training, from GE, on the Implementation of Centricity EMR
