I am currently using the "doc scheduler"from http://summitsoftech.com/us-en/ . I was wondering if there is another similar Centricity Vendor out there to demo?
What exactly are you looking for this to do?
Doc Scheduler currently takes the appointment schedule from Centricity and
syncs with Outlook using exchange. I then take the information on their outlook
calendar and dump into their smart phones, ie iPhone or Droid. This allows them
to have their schedule as it updates at their fingertips. If a case is
cancelled it is removed from Centricity and then to outlook to smartphone. Doc
Scheduler works well, it has been having quite a few syncing issues since I
upgraded to CPS 10 and wondering if there were other similar products.
I am not sure, but doesn't sound hard to remake.
Have you contacted them? They seem like they've been responsive when I email about sales questions.
Anyone using anything that allows this in a hosted Exchange server environment? We previously used NexSched and were delighted with their product. It updated our local Exchange server so we always had our office patient and other schedules synchronized with Exchange. Unfortunately, NexSched doesn't work in environment with hosted Exchange so we're still searching for a solution.
Ideally would have bidirectional synchronization between my Apple iCal (via our hosted Office 365 Exchange server) and CPS schedule. But, would settle for a uni-directional push from CPS to Exchange. NexSched was great, but they support neither hosted CPS nor hosted Exchange and we have both.
