Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday, March 9 2014 at 2 AM. There is an Oracle bug
which may cause some Oracle jobs to fail once the time change occurs. Not all customers will be affected, however some Centricity EMR users may experience licensing or document lock errors if the associated oracle jobs fail.
To prevent EMR job failures from occurring when the clocks move forward on March 9th you can reschedule 4 time sensitive jobs to run after the time change has
taken place as suggested in the steps below:
1. Run JOBS.exe on Friday 3/7/2014 evening or any time on Saturday 3/8/2014.
2. Login as the User: ml with a password of ml
3. Reschedule the 4 time sensitive jobs to a Runs Next time of after the time change has taken place. (See below)
4. Select each job and click the Next Time button, and select to run Next on 3/9/2014 after 3am:
- Reset_License_Count; 3/9/2014 3:01am
- login_proc; 3/9/2014 3:01am
- route_lost_documents; 3/9/2014 3:01am
- tablespace_maint; 3/10/2014 2:00am
