Hi,
Can anyone share their best practices for denying rx refill requests?
Let's say a refill request comes in through CPS, but the provider has to deny for a reason such as 'too early to refill', and the rx has a quantity of 30 and refill of 2... since CPS won't accept a quantity of zero for ePrescribing, what is your workaround?
I understand that we can just leave the quantity as is, but our worry is that the pharmacist might not read the request all the way and realize that it's a denied request. The pharmacist might end up refilling the denied rx request.
