Since upgrading to CPS12-10, only one of multiple providers has noted that only in a new patient chart visit, and not any of his followup visit charts, the following.
After adding several problems to the CPOE A&P-CCC form then committing the problem, the problem text is found in the chart note, but the Clinical Visit Summary shows a no assessment comment for each problem assessed.
Our custom MU scrubber form has a red/green flag to alert the provider whether a CPOE assessment (committed problem(s)) were done. This flag is based on whether the LISTASSESSNEW() function returns a value or returns NULL or blank.
Only his new patient chart, with visit type as either Consult or New Patient, but not Follow-up LISTASSESSNEW() is returning NULL or blank, even though there are several committed problems in the CPOE A&P-CCC form. In all of his followup visits, the LISTASSESS() function always returns the assessment and comments.
we are using CPS12-10, with CCC basic 1-2-0-46 with ICD10 patch applied, and CCC 9.1.
the CPOE A&P-CCC form is the most current version.
Has anyone seen or heard of this possible bug, and do you have any suggestions for a fix. Is there already a GE CR problem on this issue?
Appreciate any help or comments.

One issue that has been logged with GE relates to "New" problem assessments.
The issue we were experiencing at our site is as follows:
1. Add a new problem
2. Put the note on hold with "Sign Clinical List Changes" checked off
3. Go back into note and select "New" on the Assessment radio button field.
4. Commit assessment.
Since the problem was entered before putting the note on hold and the list changes were signed the problem is no longer considered "New" and therefore cannot be committed.
This may not be exactly what you are experiencing but I thought I would pass this along.
