Hello all,
Has anyone else encountered this screen when attempting to use a Growth Chart in CPS 10.1.3.300? This issue first came about a while back and at the time i thought it was related to IE11 getting installed on the machine. However, now i have installed a fresh instance of Windows and now have the problem again. I have checked .Net Versions, reinstalled Adobe SVG 3.0, checked/changed Internet Explorer security settings and even restored the computer back to where the only thing on the machine was the drivers and SP1 (came on disk) and i still cannot figure out what is causing this. I'm figuring it has to be an update or a software conflict.
Just for an additional note, when you open the Growth Chart you get this immediately. If you reinstall Adobe SVG and then open Growth Chart, you get the license agreement and then this. So SVG is loading, but just not properly.
Thanks in advance, and if this is a "new" issue i will try to keep the post updated as i find a solution. Thanks in advance.
We have this issue- we run thin client with Citrix. Our IT had to publish MD desktop on Citrix and we take our users thru the desktop one time to set the SVG view--log into GE thick client thru the MD desktop and open a growth chart. Then we have the user log off (making sure they log off properly) and then their growth chart works thru the published app on Citrix.
Also, any of the other graphs that you can choose from the left side of the "Graphs" window work just fine. They are called by checking the desired graph from the left list and then pressing "Show Graph" as to where the Growth Chart has its own button. The Growth Chart is not an option on the list of graphs which seems odd to me.
cisaac,
Sorry for not being clearer about this. This issue is occurring in a Windows 7 64-bit environment. The only place we use anything remotely like that is off-site.
CPS 10 only supports up to IE9 I believe. If you have 10 or higher it won't work. I had the same issue after I upgraded all 75 computers to IE10. Had to go back and downgrade.
Chris,
We've limited all of our computers to IE9 for that very reason. And when i fresh installed this OS (for this very reason) i made sure to block IE10 and IE11 before even running updates. Thanks for the suggestion though. Sorry you had to do all of that work btw.
It's solved! I had some time to go back and mess with it again, and it turns out (via update i assume) that the "display intranet sites in compatibility mode" checkbox was chosen in the Compatibility mode window. I've looked at multiple machines and not all have this option chosen (obviously, they work) so I'm not sure at what point this happens. Thanks for everyone's suggestions and tips, they were all helpful.
