We have staff experiencing UIRefresh errors after the most recent upgrade to SP11. It doesn't happen to all staff. It only happens intermittently to some and when it does happen, it happens when updating the meds in a POT. Is anyone else experiencing this? It is very frustrating for the staff as they need to reset afterwards and it delays the discharge of patients. I know UIRefresh errors were a hot topic back in SP4 and it should have been fixed then. Well, not in our case and wondering if anyone has thought of a work-around.
I am not very technical but I have never heard of an UIRefresh error and I don't know where the POT is in the EMR. We have been having masterlocks which may be associated with these by my users don't complain of any errors, except for too much data for field and 32775 null retry error which seem to get fixed only to be broken in a future release.
We too have seen the onUIRefresh errors. I have been logging these with GE starting back when we were on CPS11.1, CPS11.1 SP1, CPS11.1 SP3, CPS12.0 SP9, CPS12.0 SP10, and now CPS12.0 SP11. The ones that are currently plaguing us are (a mixture of 35 occurrences since upgrading to SP11 on 12/12, but many, many more in the previous versions):
Error occurred in class , method CNoteView::onUIRefresh
Error occurred in class , method CMLChartDocumentView::onUIRefresh
CNoteView::onUIRefresh - An unhandled non-MFC, non-COM Exception has occurred
We began having problems with data entered in a form disappearing after the document was sent to the provider. I had a session with a Level 2 support person about this and he acknowledged a delayed write problem. The data would reappear if we logged out of Centricity and logged back in. I would be suspicious this problem and yours are related (but I could be wrong). GE is aware of it and are working on it as we communicate. My support person was unable to give me a time line on a fix but said it is a high priority.
Since sp 11 we are seeing multiple types of app crashes and slowness. Specifically we are seeing alot of masterlock problems as well.
