An issue was identified during our in CPS 12.2 where a patient is marked "sensitive" that the new prescription form will not load. We currently have hundreds of patients set as "sensitive" and will need to remove this setting. My thought was to take the existing audit I have of all these patients and create a script that when that PID is present will change the banner bar to yellow indicating visually this patient has a sensitive chart. I know the banner bar changes color if the patient in deceased and/or inactive. Any taker on how I could accomplish this?
I don't think anyone has found a way to change the banner color.
I just tested the sensitive chart issue in my test CPS 12.2 system.
Once I marked the chart sensitive:
- the patient banner in the chart won't generate. I get the spinning wheel in the patient banner.
- the patient banner inside the prescriptions form doesn't display picture, sex, age, DOB, or authorizing provider
- the active medication list does not appear on the left side, so you can't click Renew to refill meds
- the document does not appear in the New Documents section, but you an see it on the Document list.
Oh my.
Has GE provided an SPR# for this bug? This bug is significant and we may want to delay our upgrade to 12.2.X until after is resolved. Thanks!

We have GE actively working on this case and we have provided many files for them to evaluate. Unfortunately, this defect was not called out in release notes and it was identifed earlier in testing by other health organizations. Those health organization determined this was not a cirtical issue but it is indeed for us.
We are now having to develope a script that will deselect the senstive chart indicator on the patient chart and rely on a chart alert. This is not ideal for tracking compliance and allows for the opportunity for the end user to clear the alert.
Very frustrating.
