I am concerened about upgrading my production CPS to SP 10 since having issue upgrading in my test servers. This new server configurator is not working out for us.
I usually like to wait for few months after new release to make sure all bugs are fixed.
Is it best to just upgrade CCC forms to ICD 10 without upgrading to SP 10?
Any thoughts?
We completed the test environment today without issue. Sever 2008 R2. I have heard their is an issue with Server2012 R2 and the configurator
I might have post my concern too soon. GE completed our test upgrade today as well. It was something to do with Group Policy.
JSheth, Thanks for the update. We also have SP10 running in Test with a plan to go live soon. Our main issue is with the ADD_FORM_COMPONENT where forms don't come in the order you want them to.
Any updates from GE or fixes noted on the ADD_FORM_COMPONENT issue? We are seeing this too now post SP10 upgrade. Would love to know if there is already an SR or fix.
Jen, I'm trying to get an answer. My var told me that GE said is a manifestation of SPR 55244 but I'm not sure I 100% agree since the text of that SPR is "When using the ADD_FORM_COMP data symbol with the AFTER_CURRENT argument, the form is not inserted AFTER the current form."
The form component problem is certainly a pain. It took several hours to work around all the Document Templates, but that impact really depends upon how you handle your own forms.
SP10 does have some other beneficial items which might still make it worthwhile if you're working into ICD-10 now.
Problem Search *Smart List expanded
Problem Search Reference List expanded/improved for ICD-10 (even without HLI, which is actually pretty cool). Probably worth waiting for SP11 to upgrade though if HLI is an important point.
MU - SP10 made a big improvement in accuracy for CQR CPOE Lab/Rad numbers
