We are struggling with CQR and the authorization of our providers for PQRS submission. I am wondering if anyone else is fighting this battle? Also wondering if anyone has successfully submitted all of their 2014 PQRS data?
Thank you
I submitted/authorized all of my providers last week.
This is from my post last week:
I contacted Lorna Eades w/ GE last friday and she confirmed my submission was completed. I never saw the "lock" icon for any of my providers. Apparently once the data is submitted there is a folder icon that appears. The following is from a notification sent by GE last Friday: Authorization: As a reminder, authorization is final, so please review the Measure Selection and Provider Authorization webinar slides and recording to validate that you have completed all of the required steps prior to authorizing each provider. We have received a number of questions about the authorization process and wanted to share some additional information.
- Once the authorization button is selected, the lock icon may appear briefly but will be replaced with a folder icon. The folder icon indicates that the provider’s data (QRDAIII) has been processed and stored in the cloud.
- Avoid selecting the authorization button multiple times for the same provider as this generates multiple QRDAs.
Feel frre to call me.

I too have been able to submit for all my providers at 2 clinics. I did have an issue when trying to authorize more than one provider at a time, but if I did them one at a time it worked. Both my clinics show the folder icon now.
Same here - we were able to Authorize our 14 providers. However, the lock never appeared and it took overnight before the Folder Icons appeared for us.

We've authorized about 190 providers, including mid-levels. The Effective Date fix was super-critical for the Medicare buckets on the gamma server. Since we hadn't upgraded to 9.8 until late in 2014CY, I added various HPI OBSTERMS into DataMapper for the SNOMED denominator to add early 2014 populations. I had to add OBSTERMS to various other measures such as Pneumovax (Mapper crashing 1/3 of the time) -- some worked some didn't. I picked 9 Measures which were then assigned to everyone within a specialty. Incredibly time-consuming to reset everyone's measures and too hard to choose individually with the original deadlines. Set measures, re-send 2014 data from Inquiry, re-start JBOSS, refresh, reset measures, re-send data, rinse and repeat the next day, reset back to MU2015. The insurance POS mapping wasn't hard, except for the include them/don't include them re-do. Specialists got the same measures as PCP, but obviously more zeros (which may or may not pass). The best part was the final refresh, then actual enrollment and authorization, since you can click everyone at once. Default 9 measures chosen = 125, 127, 130, 138, 156, 165, 22, 61, 69. Peds = 117, 126, 136, 146, 147, 148, 153, 154, 155 Endo = 122, 127, 134, 138, 156, 165, 22, 61, 69, Womens Health = 122, 124, 125, 134, 153 156, 165, 22, 69. Only a few other measures showed data. Did I mention time-consuming?
I do believe it would be simpler next year as a second-time through, if you stick.
I authorized my providers last week 21 in all- they all show the folder icon as authorized. However when I asked if I could have confirmation of my submission, only 3 of the 21 providers are showing as authorized. GE is looking into it so you may want to get additional confirmation and not rely on the "folder icon" being there as your confirmation.
Approximately 2000 providers have successfully authorized. If you are experiencing issues preventing you from authorizing, you should contact Centricity™ Support immediately at 888-436-8491 (Option 2, Option 3) and ask the support representative to record “PQRS – can’t authorize” at the beginning of the description of the support ticket.
