Just something I wanted to share with the community - we had a user call in an issue where she could log into CPS11, but when she tried to launch the chart module she experienced a problem. She would see the 'loading chart' splash screen appear and then disappear, but the chart module never actually launched. I had her try accessing the application multiple ways (we have CPS11 available through VDI and Citrix) in order to rule out a delivery problem, but she saw the same behavior in both environments. However, when I launched CPS11 and the chart module using my username on her machine, everything launched as it should in both environments.
After working with GE for a couple hours, we found that resetting her AD password fixed the issue (sidenote -we use LDAP authentication for CPS). It wasn't an intuitive fix since she never lost the ability to login to CPS, she just couldn't launch the chart module in particular.
So for anyone out there in a LDAP authenticated CPS environment, if charting doesn't load for one of your users, a potential quick fix is to have them change their AD password, log off, then log back in and test it out.
Did she have a special character like an @ in her password? I know that in some cases CWS doesn't like passwords with that, and possibly other, symbols.
