We are currently in preparations to go live on the 22nd, we are seeing in Test that you can no longer Discard, Remove/File in Error a document once anything in Med Mgmt. has been changed. This causes concern with leaving documents in a chart that are incorrect we can change the summary line so that the document is not considered true, but we are not comfortable with leaving an incorrect document in a chart.
In May's release notes it states the "work around" is to create a new prescription and send it to the pharmacy. It doesn't explain how they are discarding the document, when we try to discard we get an error that you can not discard a document with clinical changes.
Any advise on this and any other Med Mgmt. issues/concerns would be greatly appreciated.

We had to submit a case to figure this out and basically if medications are involved, you can no longer file in error/discard. The process changes is what they told us but we are finding it nearly impossible still. They sent me a guide, I have attached it below. Hopefully this is helpful to you!
