Hello,
We are trying to install the February 2015 KB update on our test server (as we do every month) before applying it to our production server and we are getting the following message when we go to update:
It looks like the February KB update has the November 2014 update associated with it somehow. We have tried downloading the KB update multiple times and tried from different computers but we get the same thing. GE said nobody else has called with this issue yet. Just wondering if anyone has seen this before?
You may want to download the February 2015 KB link again. Maybe that will clear the issue. Our update went smoothly with no errors.
Thank you for your response. I downloaded the update again and tried it but I get the same thing. So odd.
I did not get that pop up with the Feb KB.
HOWEVER, I did have issue with the install. I install monthly as well (required for MediSpan updates).
According to GE, the Feb KB is "messed up". It doesn't include any medication updates. These updates will be included in the March KB.
Your popup definitely looks like the wrong KB was downloaded (or posted to download).
If you able to install, you'll only get the MediSpan date updated unless GE has uploaded something else.
Jill
We have the same issue and I have been trying to get GE Support to help us for about 10 days, so far to no avail. Even using our Sales Rep to escalate the problem has not helped yet. I am able to download the Instruction PDF file but cannot get the Knowledgebase data to download. I have had the same problem in 3 different months over the last 9 months +/-. The first time support actually sent me the file by e--mail if I recall correctly. The second time they finally fixed something an their end and I was able to download it the usual way.
I have been discussing this issue in another thread. I shall copy my last post to that thread here. Hopefully this might give you some insight into the problem.
Just for an FYI, I did get through to the Support team today and they were unable to get the download process to work on my computer also. The support person gave me the file I needed to install the newest Knowledgebase update. After talking with him I went to our IT person and he was able to download the file using Google Chrome though he did not get the option to save the file to a different folder than the default download folder on his computer. I then went back to my computer and tried a little experiment. I went to the Knowledgebase update download site again and tried to download both the January Incremental update and the December Full update, both of which downloaded perfectly, allowing me to direct the download to a folder of my choice. However the February update still did not give me that option and the file went into Never Never Land, never to be seen on my computer. This was using IE 10. This problem seems to me to be at GE's end. Backing that up is the fact I originally had the same problem with the January Update but after I advised them of my problem they seemed to have fixed that file so it worked. An interesting conundrum, Maybe it is Gamma Rays and Gremlins.
I hope this helps.
For what it's worth, we applied the update without issue, but it does appear that no meds were updated like JillSnider said.
