Hello,
We are experiencing issues with the Prescriptions form (v12.3.2.3116) duplicating the text translation from another form in the encounter type. I have been able to replicate the issue randomly. More often than not, the form that it duplicates is our custom Impression and Plan HTML form. The I&P form is the last form in the encounter type/document template. However, we've had the Med-Allergy Reconcilation Mel an other HTML forms duplicate. We are able to right click on the duplicated text, and then click remove form. This removes the duplicated text, but you are unable to make any changes to that form's content. If you re-add the form, the text translation duplicates again. In some cases, it displays as html code rather than translated text. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, is there a resolution? This is occurring multiple times a day.
We are on CPS v12.3.2.3116.
Thanks in advance!
Myles
Depending on how your custom HTML was developed to send text translation to the chart, you could be using the same variables as the prescription form. That causes both forms to fight over writing the text to the chart. Without seeing the back end of your custom I&P HTML form, I won't be able to give you much more than that.
You could try writing your translation from the I&P form to a document variable instead to see if this is indeed the case.
Thanks for the reply! As we've continued to troubleshoot the issue, I've been able to replicate the text duplication with MEL and other HTML forms. GE/Athena is aware of the issue (have emails confirming they are able to replicate the issue). Per GE/Athena, they are unable to replicate the issue in v18/v19. I guess we will have to deal with it until that version is released, whenever that is.
