I am working on a conversion of certain document types for a specific set of patients and the easiest way to do this for me is for LinkLogic to export them as HL7 documents. I've been running into a number of issues and I found a workaround for many of the issues, but I am wondering if anyone else has done this and can share with me how they were able to accomplish it.
Here are the issues I've ran into with the manual export:
- When I run the manual export of all documents for all patients, the export seems to be working with the document type constraints set in the Task Option but not the patient constraint. I know this because the number of patients the job would run on is way more than the number of active patients we have, even though the Task Option does not include inactive, obsolete or deceased patients.
- I kept getting errors that would stop the job caused by documents with very old clinical dates. I have not figured out what the limit is yet, but so far the latest date that causes this issue is in 1991.
- After I figured out how to work around the old clinical dates, I was able to export about 6k patients until I get a fatal error: Error occurred in class , method Window::WindowProc. I checked the crash log and couldn't find anything related to it. A part of the log will follow this post.
Since the manual export caused me so much grief, I was hoping that the recurring task would work better. I made sure the Base changes made hereonafter is unchecked so that it exports old documents. So far I have not seen any activity with this recurring task and the lack of any logging is giving me nothing to investigate.
I would appreciate any help with the fatal errors or the recurring task. These are my definite road blocks right now, and while the other issues are annoying to deal with, I can at least work around them.
Thank you!
