Process: Adding email to staff accounts for enrolling to Dr. First
Steps: Open first user to add email. Add the Email, then hit Next Resource. Select Yes to save changes. Modify the next email address, hit Next Resource, Yes to save and so forth and so on.
Reported Issue: Many users' chart LOC had changed.
Actual Issue: I found that if I hit next resource, even if the next user is in a different location, the LOC remains the first person opened. So if I made a change to say the email address, and hit next resource and yes to save, it would then set the LOC to the first user I had opened.
This made a huge mess of our LOC's.
Check to see if this is an issue for you prior to using the Next Resource option in Application Users when doing a bulk manual change on users.
Back to hitting Ok, then double clicking on the next user.
We had a similar experience using the "Next Resource" button a few years back. It changed many security permissions and caused us quite a headache to get things straightened back out. We have avoided the "Next Resource" button ever since. We were on v12.0.10 at the time.
Yes, our IT Manager also says she avoids using Next Resource button.
