Hello All,
I have received a report of OBS terms not remaining after coming off of hold. The MA will room the patient and enter vitals\fill out health maintenance form. The MA will then hold it to the Provider. When the Provider opens that note nothing is filled out. The provider said if he begins to enter data into the fields it will prompt if he wants to “overwrite the current data” even though nothing is visible. If he clicks “NO” then the original data that the MA entered will appear. He has to do this for every single field. I have not been able to recreate this myself. Has anyone else run into this issue?
Thanks,
Brad
We have this same issue. The way around it is to check the "Sign Clinical List Changes" when the MA puts the doc on hold. It is not a perfect solution, but is sufficient with our workflow.

GE was able to recreate the problem in our database, and they know it is an issue now with SP11. SPR 65495.
We've had this happen when staff get in at the same time as the provider. Staff should always say no so as to not overwrite the provider and providers should always say yes so as to not be overwritten.
We were told the multiple clicks are to account for every clinical list change effected.
Good luck!

We too are experiencing this with our in house lab result entry.
Is there a time frame on the SPR?
Thanks!

UPDATE on this issue. I opened a ticket with GE on this issue because I could recreate it 100% of the time. The issue is fixed with Patch 6b of SP11. Just an FYI, when I tried to use the SPR 65495 the GE support person said this was an unrelated SPR. SPR 65495 is about:
ISSUE: Customer is experiencing extreme slowness in forms post SP11
