Has anyone installed the Oct 2016 KB update and received any errors? We were unable to install the KB update in our test environment and received the following errors:
Error 1 returned from sqlplus /nolog@F:\oracle\mlserver\cpo\scripts\vercheck.sql
2 critical errors occurred while running script see F:\oracle\admin\cpo\log\vercheck.log for details.
There appears to be a version problem - we did successfully install the Sept 2016 Full KB update with no problem last month.
I have already put a ticket in with GE but no word just yet. Has anyone been able to install the Oct 2016 KB update successfully?
We installed successfully with no errors.
Worked for me just fine in the test environment. I was planning on installing this weekend in production.

There does seem to be something strange about the October update. On both our test and production servers, it launched the client installation after I clicked on the Update Knowledgebase button. After I canceled the client installation, the KB update ran normally. When it happened on the test server, I figured that I had been distracted and clicked on something I shouldn't have. When it happened again on the real server, I figured that there was something peculiar about the update.
successful installation in test, nothing unusual.
Not that it helps but I didn't have any issues. Maybe rerun the Full Update and then Apply October Again.
Thanks for all the input folks! We ended up working with GE and discovered that there was a pop-up that we had to select "Yes" to. I don't know the exact wording of the pop-up, but it was one that we don't normally receive.
