CPS 12.2.0.2950
Patient Alert Notes shows blank until you click on the actual message box. Anyone also ran into this issue and a way to fix?
I'm afraid I haven't run across this. It's interesting to consider.
Is it occurring on fat clients or thin clients? All users or certain users? All machines or certain machines? When did it start? If known, what conditions changed when it started? What version software are you currently on?
I'll throw this out there although I don't think this is it: We change the number of GDI objects available on terminal servers from the default to 20000.

We just updated to CPS 12.2.1.3779 and are having the same issue on Fat client machines running windows 7. It consistent across the network with the exception of the server alert note is blank but if you click into the window the text then appears
Has anyone found a solution to this? We are having this issue. We have also noticed that the Insurance tab in Registration also appears empty until you run the cursor over it. I wonder if the two are related...
I opened a ticket on this and GE response was (it’s part of a defect that emerged in CPS 12.1. There’s not currently a fix for the issue except refreshing the window, but it is in the Engineering groups task-list), I have not heard of any issues concerning the insurance tab as of yet.
I figured as much. Thanks for the response.
We recently upgraded to 12.3 and noticed when in the Scheduling module to schedule a new Appointment the Warning pop up window that is supposed to display the Patient Alert Notes and the Eligibility notes only shows the Eligibility info. If we click inside the pop up area where the Patient Alert Notes are supposed to be displayed it will then paint the screen with the Patient Alert Note.
We use Fat Clients on Windows 7.
Has anyone found a solution?

Has anyone been able to fix this issue? We just upgraded to 12.3.4 and I noticed it's still there. I first noticed it when I enabled the Windows aero theme instead of classic mode on Server 2008 R2. An odd thing was that my test server didn't seem to have the problem initially with the same configuration, but after restarting it and testing more, I realized it's happening on any OS with themes on. We've also found there's a similar issue with clinical forms not showing custom background colors in text fields until they are clicked.
