Hello Everyone,
We are having an issue where we go to the report mod -> file -> statements. We then click Electronic to create patient statement files that we will submit to Express Bill. Lately, we have followed this process as we usually do, however, the "Last Run Date" does not update and no file is generated (verified via EDI Submission Management).
Has anyone else experienced this? I have a ticket out w/ G.E. The odd thing is, sometimes the files will generate, sometimes they won't. I have also split out our criteria to have us generate smaller files and the issue persists.

We have had that problem for over a year now. We do not use GE directly for our customer support but rather Virtual Officeware and neither has come up with a fix for our problem yet. Even worse, if we print the statement manually and update the last statement date, when you go to do electronic statements, the Centricity software does not "acknowledge" the manually created statement date and creates ANOTHER statement which then goes out to the patient. Our patients have voiced complaints about this to our billing staff but we are told by both GE and Virtual that the program works correctly and will not be changed.
Good luck getting GE to acknowledge or fix your statement problem.
We have taken to manually submitting our electronic statements so that we do not create any duplicates rather than batching them.
Either method we use does not produce a "last statement date" in the patient's file.
GE's statement process is really messed up. I have worked in billing systems not as advanced as Centricity is supposed to be where their statements were easy to use and allowed you several different types of statements to choose from depending on what you wanted printed.
We went from V10 to V11 & then V12 and we started having statement problems when we went to v11.
