Has anyone ever had any issues where a staff member marked a patient "arrived" but they weren't showing blue on the schedule.
Also, has the alternative ever happened, i.e. patient was showing "blue" on schedule but not ever actually marked "arrived" with no record of them being marked on the appointment activity list?

Yes! Some had gone in and messed with the appointment status settings in administration. Go to admin>Charts>Schedule>Appointment Status. Look at the category of each item checked In, Checked out, Checked In/Create Document or None. Select the appropriate selection for each item depending on what you want them to do.
