Has anyone else's practice been experiencing system slowness, and occasional system errors while changing or adding a medication, after installing the July 2018 KB update?
I've been getting provider complaints of system slowness since I installed the KB update on Aug 4th. Providers say it happens when changing or adding a medication, and also getting random Centricity system errors when updating meds. One provider sent me a system error screenshot, showing part of the error message:
Error occurred in class, method MLFormat Data::a ct- action = IDOK
An unhandled non-MFC, non-COM Exception has occurred
Any one else experiencing anything like this?
There was a posting on the GE Customer portal that they pulled the first July KB and replaced it a few days later.
Due to an installation issue with specific builds of CPS, the July 2018 Knowledegebase download has been removed. A new build of the KB will be posted Wednesday, August 8.
If you have previously downloaded the original July KB and have not installed it, we recommend waiting for the new build.
This is an install issue ONLY with specific versions and does not impact the contents of the KB. If you have already installed the KB successfully, there is nothing more to do.
