Is anyone else having issues with the Rx Refills form? Our office has noticed that pharmacies are no longer loading from patients defaults, its just blank. We are also getting a pop up that says another user is making changes to the document when there is not.
Yes we have the same issue. I have logged a case with GE. Please log a case with GE as the more cases that get logged the more they will look into it.
I have actually logged 2 tickets with Quatris, the first time I was told I just need to make sure that document needs to be placed on hold to avoid the pop that states "Other user currently maker changes". I am 100% sure that no other users are in the documents at the time when these pop ups show up. I logged a second ticket with Quatris and I was told it was due to an unmatched pharmacy and ticket was closed . I will go to GE website to start a case.
What version are you on? We see the "other user is making changes" a lot but in other areas of the chart, not RX refills. We're on 12.0.11 but are upgrading to 12.3. I was hopeful that this issue was solved in 12.3. Our users usually have to log out of Centricity and back in to clear it up.
I'm also hoping this clears up in 12.3 (we are on 12.0.13 and not having problems that I know of...)
We get a pop up that the "form is in use by another user" - not the note. When we get that in the rx refill form, it isn't that another user has the chart in use and can't be solved by closing out other db connections like a regular chart lock. It can go on for days or much longer and seems like some clinical info is tied up somewhere and I almost wonder if a future note fixes by updating CLC? We have eventually been able to sign off on them in some cases but haven't found root cause yet. I do have ticket open and need to have them look at while happening again.
Jennifer,
You mention "regular chart lock", I'm assuming by this you mean the locks inside the LogLocks table? If not, have you looked in this table to see if there is a lock that you can clear, when this RX lock is occurring?
I hadn't looked in loglocks right away but I think we did look at that later with GE and didn't see anything but it might have been resolved by that point since it took a few weeks for someone to look at. I use the admin unlock tool on occasion to unlock a document and that didn't help or change anything. There are locks when someone gets kicked out of a citrix session say and the db still thinks they have open or various times when the document itself is locked but in this case, it isn't the encounter, it is only happening within the rx refill form. As soon as you open that particular form it pops up and says form is in use by another user and it won't display med info or let you respond.
