We installed SP 11 last weekend. Since then our Providers have not been able to print to their task based printers. Instead their orders are printing to thier default printer. GE states it's a known defect and we are the 4th client to log the issue. Has anyone else seen this, or does anyone have any ideas about how to fix it. The .ini file is correct.

If so, that seems like a major issue.
How do they keep breaking things like this?
This is actually a correction to an issue from about 5 years ago that broke and has been a huge thorn for our clinics. The set up is that you set your orders to print or fax based on how your workflow is. Then you set your printer default to the printer that you want the printed documents to print. We split our orders to fax printer and default printer which is how Centricity used to work. For 5 years we had to work around by printing all of our orders to a certain printer then go back into orders and print anything we wanted to our fax printer. It caused many patient care issues. We looked forward to SP11 so that the issue would be resolved and thank goodness GE got this right.

Just to add another point of view, prior to the upgrade to 12.1.0.11 we had our system set up to print to the default printer for the computer that was used and with the update it went back to printing on a task based printer as it did when we first set up the orders module. This is the opposite from the first post in this thread. Very Interesting. I have an SP in on this.
