FYI...We completed our update to SP11 with great ease this weekend. However, an issue arose with EDI unable to batch claims. We reached out to GE for assistance and was told that this is a known issue with SP11 and that my IT team and my EMR Team will now have to downgrade the Centricity and the Centricity RT plug ins tonight to allow our billing department to function with batching claims.
This was a great inconvenience for everyone as we spent Friday night and Saturday Morning doing the update and even the GE Technical Systems Consultant assisting us was not aware of this known issue. We are now staying later tonight to complete this step.
I wanted to make you aware of this situation as there were no notifications of this “known issue”.
Very weird, we do not have that issue. I did the install myself though.
I had the same issue on one of our billing computers. I just had to reinstall the plugins and batching claims worked fine after that.
We also had an issue using the CMS1500_v0212.rpt where the stored procedure was missing in the database after the upgrade. GE had me remove the CMS1500 plugin on the JBOSS server and that recreated the stored procedure.
