Hello everyone.
We recently upgraded from CPS 12.0.10 to CPS 12.0.11 for a few specific reasons, and one was to correct constant chart screen resizing issues that the providers and nursing staff were having on a regular basis. We have had multiple reports that that problem is still not fixed. Is anyone else out there having a similar issue?
Has anyone out there fixed the issue or know of a work-around to keep this from happening?
Thanks in advance!
Yes we are experiencing this also.
Here are details from a ticket I have opened about this. I guess does this means we go back to the drawing board on this?
I do not feel like we are in a position to present any more expectations or workarounds to our physicians as anything promised has been made into lies at this point.
ISSUE: SPR 62420 Chart document window randomly resizes
WORK-AROUND: Manually maximize the window
ACTION:
1. Located SPR 62420 Ticket 773648 for this client
2. Reviewed Published Defects and shows slated to be fixed in 12.0.11.2082
3. Confirmed in CW Config notes that client on 12.0.11.2254
4. Logged SPR with GE stating "NOTE: SPR states that it is fixed in 12.0.11.2082; however, client just upgraded and reporting still experiencing issue in 12.0.11.2254."
Case will move to GE SPR Q so that when fix is released Upgrade Team can coordinate update.
Thanks for all of the information.
One more question: Do you happen to know if the work-around "Manually maximize the window" works for your providers or not?
Thanks again!
I wonder if putting back the old DLL files for Drug Interaction may have erased the fix.
I had the same thought. We did apply the Drug Interaction fix. I think that would have been more annoying to deal with than the resizing issue.
We had tried this in the past unsuccessfully, but I am not at a place where I feel I can approach the physicians with any more ETR's or workarounds. This is currently a believe it when when see it. It was reported on the SP12 call and looks like a lot of sites are experiencing this. Hopefully this can be repaired with next release.
How are other clinics coping with this issue. My team has sat through some pretty ugly meetings recently with physicians and even had a couple walk out of frustration with dealing with this issue alone. This occurs with input from voice recognition, keyboard interaction, etc.
Our location has been having a weekly meeting with our VAR support to try to keep this issue in the spotlight on behalf of our physicians. Our support of course is engaged with GE on the issue, and they have a representative from GE on the call with us weekly. Nothing yet has come of the meetings other than making sure on a weekly basis that they know that our physicians want it fixed.
a workaround was posted on another thread on this website to minimize all Centricity screeens and then maximize only the chart update window. this seems to work for my providers so far.
