I wanted to throw this question out there to see if any one else had a similar issue or knowledge of what would be causing ePrescribing to return "Patient Not Found" error.
Internally we did some testing against this using ourselves as guinea pigs. We have noticed that every time a patient uses "Giant Eagle" pharmacies it tends to either not return the data submitted to them, or return nothing at all, ie. "Patient Not Found". I have asked my software provider to look into this, but have not turned up with any results.
The patients we tested on in fact have had meds prescribed to them, so the question remains, is it possible that Giant Eagle does not share their data with SureScripts? Should I have this concern for any other pharmacies?
