For ~4 years now we have had an open case with Kryptiq/Surescripts about a bug in the Document Management hl7 interface. The bug would come up when you scanned/indexed a document and tried to have it close out too many orders at the same time. If there were too many orders, the hl7 field that held the order numbers would be larger than the Centricity allowed amount, and the message would error out in LinkLogic. We would run into this bug when scanning lab results from outside facilities and try to have it close out all of the orders associated with the labs.
I got tired of waiting on Surescripts to fix the issue so I wrote an interface using Mirth that fixes it. (we were out of Qvera licenses otherwise I would have used that) I am curious if anyone else has noticed this bug. Let me know if you would like the fix.
I provided details to Surescripts on exactly how to fix this bug so hopefully it will be fixed in their product soon, though I am not holding my breath. I have had a case that they have classified as a critical bug in SMPP almost a year ago and they keep pushing the release date back for the fix.
Hello!
This sounds great! We would love to have this solution. Please 🙂
