Is anyone else having issues with Truven working properly from the Nav Link in the chart module?
I cannot get Truven to print. GE has acknowledged this as an issue and they are working on it...
Also, does anyone know if you can redirect the 'print patient instructions' button on the patient instructions ccc form to Truven vs. the Exitcare handouts?
I have some concerns over the exitcare handouts being removed on 12/31 per the November KB, and I'm wondering how others are handling the situation.
Thanks,
Diane

Hello,
I had talked to GE also about this problem as we are having multiple issues. There is an open SPR #61274 that we were attached to. We've been able to print, but we're having problems with it actually pulling accurate options or options at all. We've had several users click the button with a problem selected & receive options that don't match or a message that system can't find an option. It's very frustrating.
Thank you,
Vicky

On a similar vein with the problems with Problems, we connect our Clinical Reference to UpToDate.
UpToDate indicated that EMR is sending the Problems in ICD-10-WHO OID format rather than using the U.S. version, ICD-10-CM.
James, have you reported the ICD 10 issue to GE?
Vicki - That is disheartening to hear that Truven isn't retrieve corresponding documents within problems! I did not specifically experience that, but haven't done too much testing in problems.
To clarify, my issue is within the 'set up links / Nav Link'. I was trying to provide a similar search function like we have in handouts now. It would work 90% of the way (able to search, retrieve & view documents), but always errored when trying to print. This is what GE acknowledged.
I then tested the url outside of cps, and it worked just fine, all the way through. So, it is definitely cps. I then added it as a website to the obs/probs, and it worked just fine from there too.
URL: http://www.micromedexsolutions.com/carenotes/librarian/PFDefaultActionId/pf.LoginAction?login.username_index_0=gecnmd&login.password_index_0=gecnmd
So, at least there is a general search solution. Has anyone else found a better way to implement?
Also, does anyone know why Exitcare needs to be removed?
Thanks,
Diane
Hi Diane,
We also have had issues with printing the Truven handouts and are also disappointed that the Exitcare handouts are no longer supported. These new handouts are not well written and difficult to find any prevention handouts. Also, as you know, providers are usually looking to give handouts on new problems, that they first need to add the problem to the problem list, sign the clinical list changes and then go back into problems and find the handout in order to get credit.
Although our handouts are printing, depending on the session, the font is extremely large and margins are cut off. It depends on the session, where we use a citrix environment, the internet settings are not consistent. GE states they are not aware of this happening to any other users, but apparently there are posts on CHUG and there may be fix with a reg key within the citrix environment. we have not yet implemented it but will post to see if it fixes the issue.

Have your tried this yet & did it fox your issues?
