Our practice is currently experiencing an intermittent issue when using the webcam in patient registration. When a user clicks on the webcam button a window with "no video feed" will sometimes appear. After some testing, the webcam will capture an image, and Citrix traces have shown there is video being streamed when the "Take Snapshot" button is pressed. We recently upgraded our Citrix 6.5 environment to 7.6. We are currently on C-EMR 9.8.13 _2633. I have deleted the capture.avi, let it rebuild, and fixed permissions on the file. This did not solve the issue. Again it is intermittent, so sometimes the video/capture feed is there. I have called in to GE support, and have been told that this functionality is only supported on thick clients. I am aware of this, and understand this position by GE. I also know several C-EMR users have a similar configuration based on the archives, and have been doing it this way for many years too. I would appreciate any ideas or thoughts on the issue.
