Since we upgraded to CPS 12.2 I've been noticing a problem with the HTML immunization form, specifically the "auto-generate orders" feature. It's adding the administration billing code but not the vaccine billing code. I reviewed our custom list settings, and it appears that the correct CPT codes are tied to each vaccine (with ICD10 Z23), so I'm not sure why those order codes aren't being auto-added. Any ideas?
This is also happening for us under the Medication Administration form. I mapped all the billing orders but only the administration is carried to the orders module not the actual billing code for the drug administered.
Did you happen to hear anything else on this?
We learned that the vaccine orders need to be in the GEImmunizations folder in the Codes/Categories section of admin. The order description also has to match exactly the vaccine description in the Immunization custom list.
Medication orders need to be in the Injections folder in Codes/Categories. And the order descriptions also have to match exactly the medication description in the Med Admin custom list. A quirk with medication orders is that the "Units" for the order are pulled from the Quantity field on the Med Admin form, not from Codes/Categories.
