Anyone upgrade to 12.0.9 from 12.0.7 or less? I just read the 12.0.9 release notes and it says that the update doesn't contain the 12.0.8 patches and that we should wait for update 1? Should I upgrade to 12.0.8 first and then 12.0.8 or wait for 12.0.9 update 1? Does anyone know when that comes out? We're at 12.0.6

I just did 12.0.8 and 12.0.9 this weekend. GE is supposed to include the 8 patches in 9 update 1. Everything is working for us. Now major issues so for. Updating to the 1.1 forms caused me more problems than anything.

We are currently on 12.0.7 and awaiting 12.0.9 SP1. We were advised to hold off to get all the latest patches this way. Last GE call we had on 12.0.9 is that is SP1 should be out end of June or early July. That is all pending on GE to release. If you don't have a major need to upgrade at this time, I would suggest holding off until the SP1 and do one larger update instead of many smaller ones. Just an opinion/suggestion.

Good Morning,
Since you are currently on 12.0.6 the patches referred to in the 12.0.9 release notes do not apply to your installation. You should have no problem going straight to 12.0.9.
This would only apply to installations that are on 12.0.8 and have applied the performance patches.

I am debating with that same question . We are also at 12.0.6 and some of the SP 9 improvments are important to me for accurate CQR reporting of MU. I would also like to know what others are doing. How long can we wait to be sure that we are going to be able to get accurate CQR data for MU attestation? How often do we do updates and how long do we wait to make sure we are not going to have a disaster when we do the upgrade?

Monsterglue, I don't see why you couldn't make the jump to SP9 or SP10 when it comes out.
