12.2.2 Merging chart causing CPS break

We recently upgraded to 12.2.2 and every time a user tries to merge a chart it causes the users CPS to break.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Try running CLICONFG from a command window. when the GUI shows up for SQL Client, place enable the protocols in order 1st. TCP/IP, 2nd Named Pipes. see pic for exact placement. We have found this to correct a number of crashes, including while merging.

We has issue with this in 12.0.12 and we recently updated to 12.3 and it still locks up the users session at times. When the disconnect and reconnect the merge does successfully complete. Frustrating for the end users.
