Has anyone installed SP 12 in their EMR 9.8? Is the issue with Dragon fixed? We did not move forward with patch 6B because we have a lot of Providers using Dragon. Any information you can give will be deeply appreciated!

Its reported in CPS 12.0.12 that fixed an issue where Dragon crashed when turning on the microphone. If you had previously changed the settings of the Dragon nsapp.ini file for emrTer from 9 to 1, you will need to restore that setting after upgrade to SP12.
The change will need to be made on every machine where Dragon is installed and you previously changed the settings. SPR 66690

Hi Todd thanks for the response,
We never made a change to the Dragon nsapp.ini file. We installed 6B in our test environment and notice Dragon was not working. We did not get a crash with the microphone, what would happen is that the dictation will stop midsentence. We decided not to go-live with the 6B patch and wait for SP 12 and test Dragon. We've installed SP 12 in test and Dragon is still not dictating properly (stopping midsentence. I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue with SP12.

We are similar to your situation. We skipped 6b because of the dragon issues. We now have sp12 in test but we are not longer experiencing any issues with dragon. It seems the SP12 has fixed the issue. We also have never made a change to the snapp.ini file. Hope this helps!
