Hi all,
I'm looking for help from folks having experience with using IE 11 with C-EMR 9.8.
We've been trying to hold off on upgrading to IE 11 until after it is formally supported in C-EMR 9.12 but it doesn't look as though we can wait due to other applications. I've searched the forums and found this post which was helpful: https://centricityusers.com/forum/centricity-9-8-and-internet-explorer-version-11/ However that post is about two years old and I'm wondering if much has changed since IE11 has been updated numerous times since then and I believe we may be on a newer EMR SP than the original poster (We are on 9.8.12).
From what I gather the following may be problem areas with IE11 and 9.8.12:
1) Messaging Tab - the original post states this can be resolved by clearing out the IE history after upgrading to IE11
2) Growth Chart - in the original post one organization reports that they experienced no issues
3) Dosing Calculator - I'm not sure if this poses a problem in C-EMR but saw it mentioned with CPS so I thought I'd list it in case others have any input.
One step mentioned that seems to help reduce issues is using compatibility view for the EMR server address. I wonder if this means the DB server, JBoss or both?
Any input would be appreciated... from either verifying the information above or your own experiences. Any tips, suggestions, workarounds or fixes that could be offered would be much appreciated as well!

We are on 9.8.13 and we have upgraded everythign to IE11. I don't think I have heard any complaints from anyone. I don't know that we use the growth chart and dosing calculator all that often. Make sure you are on a newer version of SMPP and I think you will be OK as far as the messaging tab goes.
If you were to switch something to compatibility mode, I would say your jboss address would be the one that was the most likely to solve the issues.
RWilliams,
Thanks very much for your reply. We recently upgraded to GE POL v15.01 and are using SMPP v7.0.7 so I would hope that is a new enough version in regards to your point. Are you on a similar version?
I was thinking along the same lines as you regarding the JBoss server and compatibility mode so I very much appreciate the input!

Jason
