Good morning everyone,
We've recently become an Accountable Care Organization, and we are looking for a way to easily denote which patients are participants in the ACO program. Preferably, we'd like the patient banner to turn yellow for these ACO patients, but this is not an option.
Are there any other ACO's out there that have found an obvious (and relatively efficient) way to indicate these patients?
Thanks for any suggestions!
We are interested in the same thing as well.
We have ACO listed in the Credit Status field, which appears on the banner. If you have a current credit status you can simply add ACO to the end of the field. This is the only way we have figured out how to differentiate ACO patients.
Hope this helps!

Good thought. I've thought of adding "ACO" to an Obs term and then displaying that info in the banner if it exists. Doesn't change color, but it'll work too.
Thanks for the ideas! We ended up using an obsterm and putting that in the banner.
IT WOULD BE GREAT TO BE ABLE TO USE THE REGISTRY FOR THIS, SO THAT WE CAN EXCLUDE THESE PATIENTS THAT HAVE OPTED OUT IN OUT REPORTING. OR EVEN IF WE CAN USE THE FIELD IN THE REGISTRATION AS SOMETHING OTHER THAT ACTIVE TO MAYBE ACTIVE/HOSPICE..ACTIVE/ACO...ACTIVE/CCM
