I designed a Crystal Report, and loaded it into the EMR. I can execute the report, however the layout (and saved layout in Crystal) is for landscape orientation. However, the EMR always seems to print in portrait.
Because of the number of columns, I really need the full width.
Any idea if or where the setting might be to associate the report with a 'landscape' setting?
Thanks.
Create a new formula called mllandscape. Leave the formula blank.
Place the new @mllandscape formula into the Page Header. That's it!
Do I place this formula into the page header inside the Crystal layout? I would think so.
The reason for asking is that I recall seeing where in Centricity it can prompt or do some things with formulas/variables.
Thanks.
Yes, the mllandscape formula goes into the Design>Page Header layout, as if it were any field.
You can add prompts by creating a Parameter and then pointing the Selection Criteria to the parameter. You'll get a pop-up when running the report. Just be sure to test formulas in the prompt outside EMR first, to make sure the report runs efficiently.
Just wanted to bump this up and say thank you. Works flawlessly for printing Chart Reports in landscape.
