Has anyone added a barcode graphic to the prescription printout?
Our report writer added the barcode as an OLE Object to the .rpt file and when it tries to print she gets an error message:
"The page size was not large enough to format the contents of an object in the report."
From the report layout it appears the object should fit. Is there something else she needs to do to the barcode object before inserting it into the report file?
Thanks for your help.

I've added a barcode to a Crystal lab requisition without using OLE. In our case, the barcode displays patient account number data in the barcode format.
Within Crystal Reports, you should be able to change the font on the field or formula in the normal right-click method. As long as the barcode has been installed onto the server/PC, it should appear available as a font, no different than switching to Arial, Courier, etc. Prescriptions should work the same way.
I used the http://www.idautomation.com free barcode 39 which had been recommended by someone else on the 'old' CHUG.

We also have used that free font with success.
Do you have a copy of that requisition? We are trying to add a barcode to our lab requisitions that would output the patients name, DOB, or MRN when scanned.
