I know in the past we have been unable to add anything to the drop down list for this. Has anyone figured out a way to add to it? I have looked in forms but I can't find it there. Any suggestions?

I haven't been able to find that list either. You can just free type into the Directives field, after clicking the + . We free type in there what we need. I hope this helps.

Someone else on CHUG figured this out awhile ago. You have to download a HEX editor like HxD and open the mlChart.dll file from the client directory, then find the list by searching for any item currently in the dropdown (make sure you check Unicode string or no results will be found). You can modify the descriptions, but it is very important that you DO NOT change the length of the file. Meaning you can not add or remove any characters, only replace what is there. I don't recommend doing it, but it can be done.

We used a form built by GE that allowed us to add other options to the patients directives. It came in their primary care kit.

Yes that was it the .dll file, thanks. I think we'll stick with the form from the Primary Care Kit.
