We are planning on upgrading to SP10 soon. We are on CEMR 9.8.8 at the moment. Does anyone have more to add about glitches we might encounter? Especially with using the new problem search.
Thanks
Kate
When we updated the test environment from CPS12.0.9 to SP10 problems search list came empty. All what had to happen is to reload diagnostic codes from administration (Codes>Billing System>Load Diagnosis Codes). That is not in the SP10 release notes. So I guess that reloading from the factory and applying knowledgebase isn't necessary.
draganailic,
I did reload from the factory codes and did the KB update but didn't have to load the codes within CPS. I tried but everything was already loaded.
We did our production update on Friday. It went relatively smooth. The only hiccup during the upgrade was the missing \\server\c$\Program Files\Centricity Practice Solution\jboss\server\default\deploy\Centricityps.war\install\optional folder which disallowed downloads of plug-ins. Apparently this is a known issue and creating it manually fixed the problem.
I had a weird thing with billing people not being able to add a diagnosis code. I opened a case with GE on this but it looks like a Jboss reboot fixed the issue because the problem appeared to heal itself over the weekend.
Another issue is we can not seem to print older documents from 2009 and older. I opened a case on that one. Our medical records department found this issue early today.
I do like the server configurator thing.

Mike,
For the printer thing there is a script that will fix that. We didn't have it but my VAR was telling me about it. GE should be able to get you fixed up quickly. If not let me know.
Thanks Bovie. Now if only I could get a call back from GE!
Tnc, drop me an email and I'll see if I can get the script from my Var.
