Hi All,
Every once in a while we get errors such as "cannot retrieve the SQL query" when trying to print orders. We can fix these issues rather easily by creating a new Windows Profile for the user having the issue. Does anyone know where CPS stores temp files/config files in the Windows Profile?
It would seem that just deleting these files would be a heck of a lot easier than nuking the the Windows Profile every time a user has this issue.
Testing -
-If I log into the PC with my AD account or my test account and have the user log into CPS it works just fine.
-If I log into CPS when the user is logged into the PC it doesn't work.

I know this is an older post but my guess would be c:\users\%USERNAME%\AppData\local\Centricity and/or c:\users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\GE
Could you share if you discovered this location already?

The first location (AppData\Local\Centricity) only holds log files on my PC and the second location (AppData\Roaming\GE) is empty.
Then again I've never really had any issues on my box, i'll look into one of the PCs the next time we get a report of a problem.

My locations are empty as well but I was thinking that maybe there is stuff in there at the time you have your problem. I have not seen that problem specifically but I have been told to "delete the user profile" by support, as well as "rebuild the machine" before, even on a newly installed OS so this would be good information to have to troubleshoot things outside of GE's recommendations as we do not have the staff to rebuild machines frequently and there is a software cost in some cases when you blow up a license.
I also found some oddly named directories in c:\Users\mdz\AppData\Local\GE_Healthcare_Integrated_ but inside of those folders are subfolders called 10.0.0.0 and 11.0.0.0 so I think those are from the CPS 10 and CPS 11 eras. The dates on those folder support the theory but there is no 12.0.0.0 folder anywhere
