Hello all, this is my first post so I apologize if I am on the wrong thread.
We occasionally have orders not get entered and therefore we need to back-enter. Previously I could click the document, click append, click full clinical list update, choose "clinical list update" as the encounter type, back date the document, and have the option to check the "associate to visit on this date" box.
Now, instead, I can see the visit(s) from that date but they are grayed out, as is the checkbox to associate. I don't know of anything changing in our settings. I am listed as a billable provider with administrator admin rights. Can anyone offer insight on how I can get back to being able to append without generating another ticket? Did our biller do something that makes the visits inaccessible now? Is there a workaround?
Many thanks in advance,
Amy
Did you change the provider to the provider with whom the patietn had an appointment? They must match to have the option to associate it to that appointment
We are seeing the same thing after we upgraded to CPS 12.0.8. Some users can append and attach to the visit and some cannot. Usually if you have the wrong provider / wrong facility etc you can at least still see the greyed appointment at the bottom however our MA staff does not even see that while the Lab staff does. We cannot find any security around this and are really having an issue. I have entered a case with GE but no answer yet.
Thanks,
Janet
I used to be able to do it even if the provider was not the same as long as the facility was. Now I'm just grayed out even if it all adds up. We upgraded to 12.0.8 over the weekend so it was happening before that. Keep me posted if the case from GE leads to a resolution, Janet. Thank you!
