Hello!
We noticed with one of the latest updates, we can send an appointment cancellation notice to the patient's medical record. We love that! BUT....we want that ability on all appointments. With non-user resource appointments, that opportunity is not provided. We cannot find a place to expand which resources will have the notice allowed and wondered if anyone knew A) why resource appointments won't allow us to send a notice, and B) where can we edit this?

How do you send cancellation notices to the chart? I haven't seen this functionality yet
If you are on CPS 12 - combined product, when you set up your appt cancel codes, there is a field named HL7 mapping. In that field you can set it for Canceled or No Show cancellations. This will cause a document to be created in the patient's chart.
You are absolutely correct about the Schedule Resources. We used to be on CEMR 9.5 and those resources, well, they were called 'books' in CEMR, we were able to have the document created as well so we lost some functionality when we moved to CPS. It's amazing to me that they don't think about those things....there are several areas that we lost functionality with when we moved to CPS.
I just recently found that functionality and switched it on at the request of our phone room. The doctors then began receiving the documents on their desktops requiring a signature. Is there a way to have these auto signed? Thanks!!
