Does anyone use Self-Labeling faxing software? If so, what is the company, pro's/con's, is it worth the expense, etc.?
Thank you!
Not us, but in looking for it, a quick google search didn't turn up a company called self-labeling. Do you have a URL?

I found InDxLogic Inc. on the CHUG vendor listing and we have scheduled a demo for next week to see how the software works.
Ah Indxlogic. Yes, we've used them for, I'd say, at least 8 years.
What are your thoughts? Is it costly?
I have typed a response twice now and keep getting an error submitting. Grr.
I don't know the current pricing.
Be prepared to spend a good amount of time setting up your document type terms.
Last month we sent ~14,000 documents. 53% fully auto-matched on patient name, DOB, and document type. The rest required some form of manual intervention.
We have a number of subfolders with document type already mapped, so Indxlogic doesn't need to scan for document type on those. This improves our match percentage somewhat. We were finding that we get a lot of files which don't easily match on document type. Things like images, letters, and such.
The PDF documents are stored in a MSSQL database. The front end is a web server. The chart attachments are URLs for the web server. Unfortunately this means that anyone that can reach the web server with a valid URL can open a chart document without authentication and direct accountability. This may or may not be a concern for you.
Like OCR software, something to automatically attempt to index a document? I guess I'm not sure what you mean by self labeling.
As a side question: What does everyone use for their faxing solution out of the EMR? Are we stuck with Biscom?
DocuSight is now available to the public. Save money and time. But best thing is that it uses OCR technology and rule building, to process documents automatically! https://www.medcode365.com/DocuSight
