I just read this question https://centricityusers.com/forum/auto-generated-on-hold-documents/
and I was unaware that such a feature even existed in Centricity.
I tried doing the opposite of the answer (the question was about disabling it) and I was unable to get the arrival of a patient to generate a note. What pieces am I missing?
Can this be done if the patient arrival is set via an interface?
On the appointment type I know there is a place to choose an "encounter type for document creation". We have it set on a few old appt types and I haven't watched it through the interface recently but I believe that is where you might do it.
Unfortunately we already set that up and created an appointment as arrived through the interface and it did not seem to work.
We have just started using this and it works. You said you have the appointment type set up with an Encounter Type. Are you sure the appointment is being created using the template you have edited to create an encounter? Have you tried manually creating an appointment using that type for a test patient and then manually arriving it to see if it gets created? Does the book you are using have a user associated with it to make the responsible provider of the update?
