We seem to be experiencing a bug in CPS 12.07 where users are unable to log in after a timeout. The user can enter their username and password, but the log in button is grayed out. Checked in with GE about this -- SR 1-595970274.
Apparently, this is a known defect. If a user has caps lock ON and is timed out - OR - logs out, they are unable to sign back in. The only workaround is restarting the CPS process. If the user has any open batches, they will lose their work.
This is kind of an issue for us, as claims need to be entered in caps.
Has anyone else run into this issue as well?
Yes, we have, so our billers just do not leave the cap lock on when they know they will not be using CPS for about 10 mins.
I am so glad that I found this post. One of our providers has been experiencing this issue and our vendor's solution was to wipe out their AD account and to give her a new one (which would have been horrible as everything for our group is tied to the AD account username). The provider was leaving her caps lock button on and since this was only impacting one user I am so happy to have found this post. Thank you.
