We are on a Virtual Environment & use Veam as
back-up. Our backup was “corrupted” per
IT and they say the data for 36 hours is lost.
Has anyone else encountered this?
If so, were you able to recover the data? Any feedback is VERY appreciative!!!!

Is there some reason you must have those 36 hours of backup that are corrupted? As long as your EMR database and backups are currently functioning, I wouldn't worry about it.
It made us loose All of Wed/Thurs AM data, including chart notes, appointments, billing, etc. SQL was corrupted too I assume but was not told that
Oh my! that certainty is not good! Short of ripping out the hard drives and shipping them for professional data recovery, there probably is not much you can do, and even then since the drives have been in use since the data loss, they chances of retrieving that data are pretty much non existent.
