We're currently exploring options around improving our med pass process at one of our detox/rehab facilities. In doing so, we're looking into potentially introducing patient armbands and barcode scanners to help with patient safety.
Are other facilities using Centricity using barcode scanners for the purpose of scanning medication AND patient armbands? If so, do you have any recommended models for barcode scanners and/or armband printers? I also have an inquiry to our support vendor (not Athena) and am waiting for feedback from them but curious if others are willing to share their experience with different products.
