We are getting ready in the next couple of weeks do upgrade to 9.10. Any other brave souls out there do this upgrade yet?

Hi Stacey, We are actually upgrading this weekend so I will let you know how it goes. We are not "turning" on EPCS right away though - we want to make sure that the upgrade is working first. We already have Imprivata in our facility for our inpatient application (Cerner) so at least that piece is already done. Feel free to contact me next week (later in the week) and I will let you know how it goes. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

How did your 9.10 upgrade go for you Peg? We also are considering upgrading but wondering if going from EMR 9.8.11 to 9.8.13 should be done as a first step.
HI Stacey, Its been an interesting week since the upgrade. Our main issues are:
1. Linklogic - apparently their is a bug (we didn't know of) that causes issues with linklogic that doesn't show up for a couple of days. We have scripts running to restart our linklogic Q1hr to fix the issue for now but GE is still working on it. I know that our GE technical person had a lot of trouble getting it configured after the upgrade
2. eSM issues - we have 12 different LOC's and are having rx refills show up for the correct providers but in a different LOC. This is a pain because we need to monitor constantly
3. we went from physical server to a virtual server and not sure if this is causing issues but we are seeing issues with staff freezing on the desktops and crashing which is never a good thing!
4. our secure messaging is not working which is critical for us because we want to attest using the last 3 months of this year for MU and now this.
5. Couple of little things in Med/Immunization - buttons that say "Me" are just pulling in provider names and not staff
6. Care Alerts not showing
so you can see we have issues. My advice would be wait if you can!!
