We were wondering if anyone else finds the CEMR 9.10 display hard on the eyes. For us the blue is too bright and the Icons and in some place, like the Order Entry screen, the verbiage has a background color of grey. Is it just us or is this what everyone else has too? Has anyone found a way to change this?

Hello Rachel,
We also think EMR 9.10 is hard on the eyes. You can change the display settings by right clicking on the desktop and clicking on personalize, ensure Aero Themes is selected and under window color, we have desktop selected and the orders appear much better. They do not have the dark gray box behind the label names.
I don't believe there are many people on 9.10 and was wondering if I could ask you some questions.
Do you have any issues with clinicians using eRx on one patient, going to another patient and the first patients information is in the 2nd patients chart?
Are you having any issues with Lab results getting "Filed automatically (without signature)" even though the settings state not to automatically sign and to send the results to the clinician to sign?

That you for your response. Our EMR does not appear to be working like yours. When I right click on the Desktop I only get the options for Text and Icons or Icons only. Do you think this has something to do with the Server we are on? We did not upgrade to the Windows version GE recommended.
We have not implemented 9.10 as we are still testing. We are having an issue with the Expiration Date and the medication HTML form. The Expiration date is missing and we cannot add it in.

Yes Rachel, you will have different options on different operating systems. If you go to start and right click on computer, and then properties, it will tell you what version of Windows you are running. Your network administrators may also have this functionality locked down.
I believe the expiration date issue in the medication HTML form was resolved in the latest service pack for the product. We are not experiencing that issue in production.
